*As part of the program, we offer 3 sessions of traditional healing with an established ‘Huesera’ (bone setter) that will treat any structural issues in your body such as persistent jaw, neck or back problems, scoliosis, and/or badly set bones. It is also a form of deep cranial therapy, deep tissue massage and back realignment.

From Iquitos you will be taken by boat down the Amazon River, arriving at the ‘Refugio Altiplano’ where you will stay in a modern private maluka or tree house. All accomodation is equipped with bathrooms, showers and are fully screened.
Daily activities range from meditation, bird watching, kayaking, treks through the jungle or simply relaxing in your hammock reading a good book with spectacular views of the Amazon!
*We offer 3 healing treatments with the ‘Huesera’ (bone setter). Sessions begin as a general deep tissue massage, then proceed to treat and realign jaw, feet, neck, back and cranial problems and/or badly set bones.
Evenings are reserved for ceremonies (optional), for those suffering from chronic diseases, stress related/ emotional blockages or simply seeking to expand their soul’s journey – we invite you to participate in ancient shamanic ceremonies with the assistance of the medicinal plant ‘Ayahuasca’. There is a one day excursion to visit a local indigenous tribe, ‘Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Farm’ and lunch at a traditional Peruvian restaurant overlooking the Amazon.

‘Explorers Journey’
Amazon + Cusco & Machu Picchu, Paracas & Nasca
12 DAY RETREAT

Visit one of the continent’s oldest inhabited cities, Cusco situated at 3,334 metres with it’s steep Inca-walled cobblestone streets filled with artisan shops and ruins. Staying in the luxury 5* Aranwa Spa Hotel, we will visit the ancient ruins from ‘Sacsayhuaman’ which casts it’s eye over Cusco, ‘Qorikancha’, ‘Moray’ to the ruins and market of ‘Pisac.’ Passing through the ‘The Sacred Valley’ to ‘Olaytaytambo’ where the road ends, we will catch the luxurious train with ‘Inca Rail’ to Aguas Calientes to visit the awe inspiring ‘Machu Picchu.’*Machu Picchu is situated at 2,490 metres (8,000 ft) above sea level and is one of the ‘Seven Natural Wonders of the World.’
Participate in an optional ancient shamanic ceremony with the assistance of the cactus ‘San Pedro,’ a tradition that is centuries old amongst the Andean shamans.
From Lima we take a 3 hour bus ride to Paracas staying at the luxury 5*Hilton Hotel, followed by a boat journey to visit the extraordinary wildlife on the ‘Ballestas Islands’ (also known as the baby Galapagos Islands). We then take a tour to the ‘Paracas National Reserve,’ and there is the option of flying over the ‘Nasca Lines.’
